What to expect from your first visit
If at any time you have questions or concerns regarding your treatment at our office,
please let us know.
During your initial visit, the doctor will perform a health history and physical exam. Part of your health history will include paperwork which provides background information. For your convenience, we have all necessary forms available for download on the bottom of this page.
Your doctor will ask you questions to find out more information regarding your health. For example, some common questions include:
- When did the pain start?
- Where do you feel the pain?
- Was this due to an accident or injury?
- What makes it worse?
- What makes it better?
The physical exam may include specific orthopedic and neurologic tests to assess range of motion, muscle strength/tone, and posture. We do not perform x- rays at our office. If x-rays or MRI’s are necessary, we are more than happy to set up an appointment for you.
What We Offer

What conditions do chiropractors treat?
Chiropractic treatments can be used to treat conditions including, but not limited to: back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints, headaches, extremity pain, and pregnancy induced pain.
How are Chiropractic adjustments performed?
When performing a chiropractic adjustment, the hands are used to manipulate the joints of the body, primarily the spine, in order to reduce pain, and restore joint function. A chiropractor can adapt the procedure to meet specific needs of each patient.
Why is there a popping sound?
Adjusting a joint may result in the release of a gas bubble between the joints. The noise is caused by the change in pressure within the joint.
Is chiropractic treatment safe?
Chiropractic has been widely recognized as one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. However, no health treatment is completely free from potential adverse effects. Please read our Informed Consent Form for more information.
Is chiropractic appropriate for children?
Yes. Children can be treated with chiropractic adjustments. These adjustments are adapted for each patient, and even very young children may benefit from treatment.
